Mission
Buckell Plastic Company, Inc., expertly designs, engineers, and manufactures custom light-gauge plastic thermoforming products for a variety of industries including medical, retail, health and beauty, food, safety and electronics.
History
In 1964, the Schell family established Buckell Plastic Company, Inc., in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In those early days, the company produced magnetic signs, license plates and other similar products. Always bearing an entrepreneurial spirit, company leaders shifted to automated inline plastic thermoforming and in 1990 relocated to Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Today, the company is owned and operated by Brian Schell, second generation in the enterprise.
Facility
Buckell Plastics operates from a newly remodeled 50,000 square foot facility in the Lewistown Industrial Park, close to the intersection of Pennsylvania state routes 322 and 22. The production environment is temperature and humidity controlled, with in-floor utility lines for electric, air, water, and Cat5.
